Zaq Latino is a New York City-based actor, musician, and composer. Their passion for performance ignited at age eleven after seeing the musical *Wicked*—though their first audition, for a middle school production of *Sleeping Beauty*, ended without a role. Undeterred, Zaq moved to NYC in 2019 and has since appeared in 17 films and over a dozen plays both off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway. Recently, they made their network television debut on *Law & Order: SVU*. Notable credits include Keith Miller's *This Is My Hero Arc* and Zoe Kavanagh's *Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill*.
Beyond acting, Zaq is an accomplished writer and producer. They founded and serve as executive director of validBodies arts project (vBap), a 501(c)3 performance production company dedicated to identity-conscious casting. To date, vBap has staged three acclaimed shows at NYC venues. Zaq's feature film *Welwitschia* is currently in independent production. As a trans-femme, non-binary artist, Zaq is committed to normalizing gender non-conforming representation in professional spaces.
