Ken and Lorna eagerly anticipate their daughter Rachel’s return from her gap year, but their excitement turns to shock when she introduces them to her unexpected husband, the free-spirited and rather goofy Cuckoo. Ken finds it challenging to warm up to his new son-in-law, which leads him to consider taking an unconventional approach to cope with the situation.
