Hunter (1984)
S1E1 Hunter
Episode Overview
In this gripping episode, ex-NFL star Fred Dryer portrays Det. Sgt. Rick Hunter, a tough cop with a mobster background, reminiscent of the "Dirty Harry" archetype. Faced with the rigid rules of his captain, played by Michael Cavanaugh in the pilot, Hunter teams up with the bold and outspoken Det. Sgt. Dee Dee McCall. Together, they devise a clever scheme to capture a ruthless killer terrorizing their city. Their unorthodox methods clash with the department's standards, leading to intense confrontations and high-stakes drama.
